All on ‘Zoom’. An espresso, an aperitivo perhaps, a tight packed bar in a central city somewhere, my kitchen, your lounge. A friendly group with a shared passion for freedom of thought and idea, discussion, and debate… inspiring, diverse, sometimes challenging; always a fun way to spend an hour.

It’s great to be introduced to a range of Italian authors, from different periods, in many writing styles and on different topics. The choices made by Cristina and Genesia are always interesting, and by exchanging reactions to the writings with others in the Club there is an opportunity for obtaining greater insight into the works.

Inspiring! Warm company with enjoyable, diverse short fiction discussed in small groups. Of sufficient challenge and interest, without being overly intensive, to entice even the busiest ‘student of Italian’ back to their books!

I love being introduced to new authors/titles and short stories are ideal as they are quick to get to grips with.  I have really enjoyed exchanging ideas and learning from other students in a well facilitated and friendly environment on Zoom.
